I moved over to the USA from the UK after giving up my corporate career as a Manager in British Airways to follow my passion to teach primarily all aspects of Yoga. My teacher training was all done in India at the source in the Himalayas. I also teach and deliver Thai Yoga healing which was learnt in Thailand and am a professional and personal Life Coach as well as an NLP Practitioner. I love helping people in any way I can, I believe it to be my life purpose.
Yoga and all the practices I teach have helped me through all aspects of my life, including a very long-term abusive relationship. These practices helped me to not only develop compassion for others who have been and are going through similar experiences but for myself too. I specialize in helping people with PTSD. I have been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and taught all of these practices for 6+ years. I love to share my passion for Yoga and achieving self-actualization with the world using all the tools and techniques I have discovered for myself.
I teach people from complete beginners to those who want to further their practice. I am a Yoga Alliance experienced 500 hour advanced level teacher and eternal student, so please come along to one of my asana and/or meditation classes and I will help you increase the flexibility of not only your body but your mind!

I am a graduate of the Integral Yoga Institute, Virginia, class of winter 2012 and a registered member of the Yoga Alliance. In 2013 I became a certified Reiki Practitioner. Reiki uses the universal life-force energy to bring healing to the whole person. It does this, in harmony with the natural intelligence of the mind and body, which work together to preserve and protect health and increase well being. (Reiki 1 and Reiki II) Additionally, I hold certifications in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Children's Yoga.
It is my belief that Yoga is designed to bring together the mind, body and soul by using body movement and meditation. It is based on the yogic strategy that the mind and body are in fact “One”.
I believe that if you practice yoga every day over a long period of time in earnest, it can help bring the body to reach a place of harmony and heal itself. Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting.
Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well. ~Mother Teresa
British born and previously a professional ice-figure skater. Now a Fitness instructor and Yoga teacher learning to live a kind and happy life.
Natasha loves different types of fitness formats, not just yoga. These include; of course ice skating, barre fitness, dance and functional training. She loves to incorporate exercises in her flows that focus on the small connective tissues that can be easily injured if we aren’t mindful to train each day.
Having been through personal experiences of her own, she never thought the mindful aspect of yoga would become part of her life. She strives to find balance in this chaotic life that we live in with nature, art, beach trips, travel and her love for all animals.
In Natasha’s free time she paints for fun and for commissions. You can even find her work in the studio in multiple places.
Natasha is grateful for her new journey with Authentic East in which she has grown a strong bond with and is excited to see the growth and wellness spread throughout Orlando. She looks forward to welcoming you to her classes.
Melissa first began practicing yoga in 2012 at home due to stress, depression, and anxiety. In 2017 yoga became a necessary daily practice and she began to dive deeper into the true practice of yoga, learning about the sutras and traditional yogis.
Seeing the potential to spread inner peace and self-acceptance through yoga, Melissa decided to find a training program and become a yoga instructor. In February 2018, she became a certified 200 hour yoga teacher through the program at Heartwood Yoga in Bradenton, FL.
Focusing on a mind, body, breath connection, Melissa strives to help others find some peace amidst the turmoil of their day.
I was born in Paterson, NJ and moved down to Florida when I was 8 months old, but I consider myself a Florida native! My yoga journey started 10 years ago, I took yoga as an elective in College and loved how calm and relaxed I felt after class. Two years later, I began practicing hot power yoga regularly. After noticing the physical transformation it was having on me, I also began noticing the mentally and spiritual transformation as well. I use to suffer from heavy anxiety, i was always worried about the past and future, never truly living in the present moment. Yoga brought me that peace of mind.
I made the decision to dive deeper into my yoga journey and began my teacher training at YogaMatrix in Orlando under Edely Wallace in 2016. As I further explored the yoga philosophy, everything resonated with me. In February of 2017, I tore my ACL completely, snow skiing on my birthday. Staying optimistic I looked into all my options, surgery seemed too invasive for me. After doing research, speaking with doctors and physical therapists, I decided not to have surgery. Through yoga and physical therapy, I was on both feet in 4 months! I had to put the last two courses of my teacher training on hold. I focused on therapy and my yoga practice, which was much different during that time "a lot of breath work, patience, and bridges!" In May of 2018 I completed my 200hrs. "I truly believe in the power of the human body, it is an instrument and given the right tools, it can heal itself of anything!"
That experience pushed me even further down my path as a teacher and I will be continuing my teacher training education in India in October of 2018 for my 300 hrs in Vinyasa flow! I am so grateful to be able to share my passion of yoga and what it can do for the mind, body, and spirit "It is for everyone and anyone, there are no limits, but within your mind!"
I began her personal yoga practice in 2013 to help find balance and relieve stress. During a time of chaotic transitions in my life, I found that yoga helped to bring clarity, peace and stillness to my mind, body and life during my 60-minute yoga practice each day. With a desire to learn more about the practice of yoga and the passion to help others discover inner peace in a busy world, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2016 at Julaka Yoga Studio in Hillsdale, NJ.
A lifelong learner, I continue to deepen my study of yoga through my daily commitment to my personal practice and self-study of yoga, movement, breath, mindfulness and meditation. I believes that the daily practice of yoga on our mats, helps us to connect inward in our lives. I feel destined to help bring healing to communities of people through the shared connection to the practice of yoga.
